This is so true! This is further elaborated in the movie "The 11th Hour." In the movie a person states that it is not about "saving the environment" because the environment/world around us will survive. However, it is about "saving ourselves" because we are in a sense slowly poisoning ourselves with human-made pollution. It's not about being a tree hugger. It is about being a people hugger!
